Q. How do I list my farm?

A. Listing in Get Real Chicken are free for active members of American Pastured Poultry Producers Association. Become a member and then follow the instructions in your welcome email.

Q. My listing does not show up in a search.

A. The are two things you should check. First edit your profile and make sure the map that displays accurately shows your location. If the map displays incorrectly, retype your address and press enter or select the address from the list of matches. Verify the map displays your location.

The second thing to check is to ensure you do not have any special characters in your Farm Name. The most common character to cause a problem is the &. Replace the “&” with the word “and.” Then save your profile.

Q. I sell in a city that I don’t live in. How will customers in that city find me?

A. The best way to search the directory is to enter a town/city and state. Then zoom the map out until listings start to appear. This is the tip we provide on the directory search page.
